Going to the Public Library

so im going to the public library after im done with my blogging im passing this class so far im going to pick up the vow, the last song, my sisters keeper, the notebook, lucky one and dear john ive read most all of these but my friend hasnt so im going to pick them up for her give me something to do. :)

Today

so im going to subway for lunch today with one of my friends hoping its fun and we get to catch up on things

Semester test day ugh!

So the last two days of school we have semester tests i hate having them all at once dont you? yeah on days like these you never no which way is up and which way is down...every is drowning and moping in tests it fries our brains literally...

Yesterday 5-21-12

Yesterday I went to the library and I go in and i get all tied up in books that look really good...that i loose track of time and its almost time to go. I go up to Librarian and say "What its not time to go yet is it?" shes like yeah the library closes in five minutes...

Dont you just hate that? when you go to the library and theres so many good books across the shelves that you cant choose between ANY...yeah I have those days :/

7. try to find a van so i can take my drivers test

9. go to UNL to have a tour...might change my mind and do college courses over the computer

NAM Trip

So...on my birthday I got to go to Omaha to the NAM contest...it ended up being tons of fun!:) I got to watch some of my friends do their thing. Then I had to do my speech and my pageant roll down the isle get it "roll" anyway then after that i got to have my dance number...and then the final event. It was the most amazing exhillarating heart wreanching experience i have ever had...throught just three days my group and i became like a family and even if you didnt win you were happy for them...i was just so happy that i won two trophies one for participation and one for best personality. The best personality trophy meant alot to me because it was a trophy that each girl had to choose which one would get it and i was runner up i was so happy!:)

Overall this experience showed me alot of things that i didnt even know i had like better confidence and independece and not being afraid to speak out. I also have to ask others if they are willing to sign up and try NAM and if you are please let me know... i guaruntee that if you give it a try and do the best that you can you learn or gain alot of experience out of it.

Went to my first graduation party

I took myself to my friends graduation party:) how? duh i may not have a car on wheels but i have wheels one way or another i was gonna get there with or without my mom agreeing i mean its in walking distance and i had a friend follow me there to make sure i was okay i mean i'm seventeen i deserve to go out and see the world once in awhile...the thing is my mom doesnt want me to grow up...she knows i'm getting smarter and wants to try to be on my own eventually....and she's scared i get that but honestly how am i going to know what live is if i have too live it behind four walls all the time? And no offense but school isnt what life is about all the time yeah school teaches you vauluable things you should know but it doesnt teach you that taking this road is okay...or the real life things that happen all the time is people make mistakes and learn from them and you have to move on.

Life is beautful and i want to finish living it just like everbody else...i may do thing differently then most people but i get through it and i can do it and no matter how different i am im just like you.

I went to my friends graduation it was really nice it gave me some ideas for mine next year... she was so happy that i came and i was happy that i did i mean i wouldnt miss it if i was invited i'd try my absolute best to try to go shes one of my best friends...and yeah i'm gonna miss her but we will always stay in touch somehow...shes the type of person where she's not afraid to talk to me or a handicapped person or however you wanna look at it...she treats me just like anyone else and thats all i ever ask from people.

People wonder why i never talk unless someone talks to me? well heres the answer: Sometimes i get tied up in my words...or because i feel like im interrupting something; or sometimes i dont feel like i should be talking to that person...theres always a part of me that wants to hang out with people ...almost all the time you guys feel that way right? but the truth is if i just go over and try to talk to someone that i know or they know me sometimes they look at me like "do i know you?" or "i dont wanna talk to you" LOOK I've had this problem all my life and you think the people would get over it...and i will...and i try to get over people just giving me THAT LOOK....but ya know what theres only so much a girl can do and take in her life.

So I got a surprise a while ago

A few days after i came home from school for easter break my brothers cat Angel was having kittens underneath our couch! Oh MY Gosh! she had five kittens my mom won that bet...so i had to pay her five bucks cause i betted on four kittens. so there was to white ones and three yellow ones. Of course they were born on april 4th so there almost 2 months now...we have one more kitten we would like to get rid of if anyone wants it hes a boy and is a dark brown and very playful:) we've sold 2 already if you are interested please let me know thanks:)

Ugh its only thursday

Well schools almost out for the summer YEAH!:) anyway i have to take summer school this year so not so exciting but i get to go camping and horseback riding im going to a new camp this year called camp hope i hope that its alot of fun and that i get to be with my age group. im kinda wondering if there will be volunteer camp counselors from differnt countries like there was at camp easter seals. At camp easter seals volunteer camp counselors came from Australlia, Ireland, England and scottland it was so much fun to here about everything there in each country and all of them were the nicest people you could ever meet.

Guess whats happening Saturday!! :)

I got to columbus this Saturday to get ready for pageant training! i'm excited! then we get judged in omaha on my birthday to see who makes it to the next round...thats what im guessing anyway....not for sure tho...unless the judges judge us the same day we have training...who knows... but anyway who thought it way friday today? i did...its been a while since i had a blonde moment like that...
P.S i am extremely tired today (yawn)....

It's a crazy wednesday!

I have two providers that help me and my brothers get off to school in the morning since my mom has to leave the house by 4:20 am to get to work. My mom found a new provider yesterday, and she came this morning and she seems really nice but i cant get my hopes up about it because then if i do something always seems to go wrong....and they either end up getting fired or quitting. but this morning she offered to help me with my hair and i think she put way to much moose (however you spell it) into my hair and it looks bad...so i think im having a bad hair day :/ but at least we both tried... my other provider came this morning to help her learn what she needed to do... but the sad part is i wont be able to see her till tomorrow morning... shes pretty awesome, they both are so far :)

i got a huge surprise yesterday!:)

I got a call from one of the pageant directors and I got into the pageant officially I'm SO HAPPY!!:) I DID IT!:) even if I don't win tho that's ok because I learned that if u try ur best good things can happen!:)

NAM INTERVIEW YESTERDAY! :)

So yesterday i went to my NAM Interview since on saturday i ended up sick... i think it went pretty well for my first time. i'm supposed to get a call within a week to see if i actually got in :) then if i do i either end up going to omaha or lincoln for training...honestly i'm up for anything...i always give my best... I found out this is kinda like Americas Next Top Model except its not about size, beauty or anything like that its based on if you have the confidence and inderence to want to be the greatest you can be in life...and if you don't thats okay they will help you with that. But they are looking for people who can be themselves and not for people who try to be someone they are not. Lets just put it this way the youngest contestant who rank the highest in her age divisison was nine or ten and she won Miss Nebraska! i was so cool i got my picture taken withe her and everything and i got to where a crown...it was heavy but tons of fun...i learn't alot yesterday and i'm hoping that they call me so I can learn a lot more! :) 

what my name means...

yes, my name means miracle child most people know that but what they dont know is that not just my name but yours to can mean something deeply to you...
to me my name means powerful, heartwarming, and independent...to me my name is my personality... it shines through the darkest of days just like i myself have for 16 years now...and as my mom puts it "I'm still shining brighter than the sun" when people say my name its worn down from being bruised and battered but it still has its confidence and pride...just like me:) i may be bruised and battered and screaming on the inside but on the ouside i live up to my confidence and pride...my name:)

Upcoming Weekend Frenzy

so... last weekend I got a letter in the mail from the NAM (National American Miss) its a pageant....and to be honest i'm not really into that kind of thing...but as i read further i realized this ones different... its based on Personality, Confidence, and Poise so its not based on looks or body figure or anything which is pretty sweet! so i decided that im going to go for it and give it my best shot to see where it takes me...its this sunday and honestly im pretty excited. Im hoping that i can inspire some people :)
